All American Bowl/ Chapter 3
Had a chance to play in the All American Bowl this weekend. We were supposed to play in the MetroDome but that collapsed so we played in the Minnesota’s Indoor Stadium. Playing in the Bowl really was an amazing experience, it helped me network with a lot of people and also meet a lot of athletes that Share the Same Dream as me of Playing In the NFL.I had a Good bowl game so I’m hoping to open more doors for myself and work on getting Pro-days and maybe a invite to the Cactus Bowl. Whats Next for me? Chapter three of my Life…I Graduated from Ferris State University on Dec 18th with a four year Degree in Television and Media Production which has set me up with a Internship In Atlanta Georgia starting January 10th. I’m also going to just continue to work hard and get in the Best shape of my life, so when the time comes to show up and show out I will answer the Call.
PS video from the All American Bowl coming soon!

Article about me making the D2 All American Bowl
Ferris' Wilson to compete in All-American Bowl football game in Minnesota
Ferris State University senior football receiver Chris Wilson, who recently concluded his college eligibility, is taking his game to what he hopes is a higher level.
The 6-foot-7 Wilson, who played mostly at split end, is set to play in the All-American Bowl (Dec. 18) with the hopes that this college all-star game will give him some much-need
"This is a great honor for me not only to go down and to represent Ferris State, as a football player and person, but this also is an opportunity for me to showcase myself as far as making it to the next level and have a chance to play in the NFL and be a positive figure in the Big Rapids Ferris State community," Wilson said.
A native of Hingsville, Ga., Wilson had 34 catches for 457 yards with three touchdowns, during his final campaign in the 2010 season.
"When you work hard and give something your all and you see it pay off there is no greater joy," Wilson said as he also is set to graduate from Ferris' Television and Digital Media Production program this month. "Now, I have to put all the work into action and have the best game of my life on Saturday Dec 18."
Wilson hopes to have good support from Bulldog fans.

The All-American Bowl was founded in 1996 to give athletes the opportunity to compete against the best at their level in an all-star game setting. The All-American Bowl was created to fill the void of the lack of all star games available to athletes in high school, Division II, Division III, junior college and minor league football.

So My Grandma Had a son that was hit by a truck when he was 12yrs old his name was Wolfgang. And my grandma could never figure out why God took him away from her, she used to always talk about it true story. An you know I would always wonder the same things why does God take people away, like not people dying of old age or anything but like babies or perfectly healthy people or people you love. So at my grandmas funeral, her sister Got up and spoke and told the story of Wolfgang's death and then began to talk about how Alice (my grandma) was always troubled by it. Then she said one day Alice went to a funeral (this is when she was still alive) and the funeral was for a kid that had died in the community. An as she looked around at this funeral and there where so many kids there and people there that she normally does not see at the church, that is when it hit her. That even if you live forever or you die before you are born, if your death or life can bring just one person closer to God then it was all worth it. and that is how my grandma lived her life. after hearing this, that is when I got to thinking about it. Babies die at birth or as young. Parent are taken away from kids and everyone always is asking why. what people don't realize is that death or struggle has a reason.
The reason is to bring someone closer to God. It might not be today it might not be tomorrow, shoot it might not even have been the person affected by the loss but someone somewhere got the message. true story... After the funeral we where all around as a family taking pictures and eating and such and I looked over at the pastor and he was talking to two kids prob around 15 or 16, I over heard the conversation and they said "hey pastor we want to get baptized." And i thought for a second wow there is a reason for everything there was a reason for my grandma dying. Because in life she used to always say if i cant save them all i will save one. and here we are in little old Baldwin and these two kids who probably haven't been to church in a while are asking to be baptized after my grandma dies. That right there gave me a feeling of Joy and that's when i knew I couldn't cry for her because she is happy and that's when I knew the lord may not give you want when you want it or show up when you call...But he is always on time...

Chris Wilson: Chasing The Dream 9
Last week we lost by 2 points to a team we knew we could beat. But we have put that behind us and this week have been focused on GVSU or Rival team, who we haven’t beat in 11 years. And if we do beat them we will be back NUMBER 1 in our conference, so this weekend is one of the biggest games yet. GVSU is undefeated and ranked number 1 in the nation, so they are coming in here thinking they are just going to blow us out, but they have another thing coming. Kick off is 2pm Saturday so be there and stay tuned.
On another subject this week my bike was stolen from campus, which is hard on me because it was my way of getting around until I get my car fixed. But just when I was like man everything is coming at me because I had a stressful week and things weren’t going my way then my bike gets stolen, Something Great happens. I got an email that D2football.com wants to do a highlight story on me for their website. Their website is the main website for all the Division II schools in the country. This just goes to show you that if you stay positive and keep thanking God for the little blessing in life that when I all seems to come crashing down on you there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

Week recap
This week is going a little smoother for me. I actually have most of my work done for the week so I can concentrate on football and Liliana (my daughter). We have five games left in the season not including if we make it to post season. So right now I’m really starting to focus on my future and next move, which means there is no better time than now to become a perfectionist. Making everything I do from school, to football, to life count!

Ferris vs Findlay hightlight Homecoming
Homecoming week plus game highlights (had 5 catches for 90yrds and big lick of the week!)
I'm in mid season and things are really starting to come together for me. I’m getting the hang of the work and school load and I'm doing great on the football field, God has really opened a lot of doors for me this year. As long as I stay positive and keep my mind on my Goals then there is nothing that can stop my drive.

Month overview!
It has been a great week of school work and football. School is getting into its fourth week so now the projects are piling on. It will take a lot of hard work this senior year to get all the work I have to do done, it wouldn’t be my senior year if it was a walk in the park. My little one is becoming her own person, it is going so fast just yesterday I feel like I was bringing her home for the first time, now she running around doing her own thing! On the football field our team is doing very well. We have a home game tomorrow and if we win, it will put us back on top, silencing all the people who are saying Ferris State cannot do it. As far as my season I’m taking it one game at a time and waiting for my time to shine. Until that day comes every pass I get I make sure to come up with the catch! So stay tuned because life is falling into place and it will be a great day when it all comes together!

Interview
We had a dog fight this Saturday vs. Ohio Dominican, but we came together and rallied a victory! Below are a few highlights From the interview i did for the local paper after the game. Video Highlights coming soon!
1. How does it feel not only to win a second game in a row, but to win
the first road game in almost 2 years? It is a great feeling, we are
very excited about our wins! Starting with our home opener where we beat SVSU.
Then winning on the road vs. Ohio Dominican is a great feeling! I feel
like our offense has really put the pieces together. Our defense really
showed up this weekend with a blocked field goal that was run back for
a touchdown and a lot other game changing plays. So all and all we are
very excited about our home game this weekend. We just want to keep the wins
rolling.
2.You guys really seemed to get the offense going by racking up 412
yards of offense, is the offense really starting to gel right now? Yes,
I feel like the Quarterback really trusts this offense. The wide
Receivers and the running backs have faith in the QB. Also, our offense of
line has really stepped it up in this offense. The new offense that
coach Boden is running really utilizes all our weapons on offense and
gave everyone touches on the ball this weekend. We had four different
touchdowns from four different players, that shows how the offense
gets everyone involved.
3. How big has Antwain Windmon been for the defense, with him making
two key picks in consecutive games? Mike Ryan has been leading the D as
well, so how has he helped as well? Mike Ryan has really step it up for
his senior year you can see that every play he goes out there like it’s
his last and puts it all on the line. He has made plays that have been
very key to our wins, as well as Antwain, he has step it up to becoming
the lock-down corner in the GLAIC that Ferris has needed since Angelo
Williams graduated last year.
4. How has the overall attitude of this team changed from last year to
this year? This year it is a big difference from last year. This year
you can see we have come together more as a team. We have more chemistry
between players and coaches. When we don’t have things go our way, we
don’t get down on each other like we did last year, we just go with our
saying “Next Play”. Overall this year, we are playing more as a unit
than anything else, which is key to winning games
5.How will you guys prepare to face off against Tiffin next week? We
will prepare for Tiffin just like we prepare for any team, with our 24hr
rule. After Sunday night we put the win behind us and get back in the
lab, breaking down film and practicing getting ready to play. It is
going to be a great game and we still haven’t opened up our offense all
the way yet so we will definitely have some surprises up our sleeves. So
everyone should definitely come out and watch us on Saturday vs. Tiffin.

This week Ferris state had a great week of Practice. You could tell that we didn’t take the win to the head we got back on the field and got our minds ready to go to Ohio and show up and dominate. We have a lot of weapons on offense that we have not even used yet one of them being myself, so this might be the week we bring them all out. This also was a special week for me because my little girl (Liliana) turned one year old today so tonight I will be taking her out for a nice dinner to celebrate. I cannot believe that a Year has already came and gone, Life moves fast that is why you have to take advantage of every opportunity the Lord places in front of you so you can look back and say I did everything I could to be the best I could be.

A Day in My Life!
yesterday was the hardest day I have had since this semester started. I had workouts at 6am then i spent some time with (Liliana) my little Girl, then Football meetings at 11 through 12:30pm. once all that was done I had a few Min's to grab a bite to eat then had to go to my senior class which was from 1:30 to 5:30pm! At 6pm I had to shoot three shows for another senior class, after shooting and editing I didn't get home til 11pm! So my day was pretty long but in the end I look back an think about all I had to do and all I'm doing and the fact that i haven't gave up on anything and I SMILE!
